Not a bellydance, but this was my first performance with my pure Guyanan red tailed boa 'Sheba'... she's almost 7ft long!

This was at a rock night I run locally... it has a different theme every month, with our NYE night being 'From Dusk til Dawn'!
Rehearsal actually went much smoother! When we were actually in front of the audience she decided she didn't want to stay put at all!!
I think I should have cleaned the pheasant feathers in my headdress before putting it together... Sheba hadn't eaten in almost a month so the feathers were probably a little enticing (she kept trying to climb up to them!) I would have fed her a week before the performance but the pet shop was short on rats that week so it had to wait til the day after in the end... nice treat for her!
Anyway, it all went ok in the end and I don't think anyone really noticed!!
