Anybody have any idea's

I just posted a pic of my new baby Athena. She is a lovely snake but I have hit a snake. The breeder I purchased her from claimed to feed all the animal f/t rodents, but when I went to feed her at home she would not take it. I tried three times and finally I have gave her a live just to see what she would do. (plus I was starting to get worried that she was going too long without feed) She gobbled it right up. This makes it hard for me to believe she has been fed f/t. I could take her back and demand my money back but I'm already very attached to my baby so that is no longer an option. Anyone have any good idea's for how to get a picky ball python baby onto f/t?

Thank you so much.

...and if you breeder claims to feed f/t, ask them to prove it.

Well sometimes they do stuff like that. May I suggest next time do a fresh kill and give it. Then keep the container it came in and put the warm f/t in it for a couple minutes and try that. It sents it. I have had luck switching all of mine to f/t. Several were on live when I got them, but no more.

This sounds kind of weird, but ask the pet store for some shavings from their mouse cage. Keep it in a baggie and use that to scent the thawed food.
I've used fresh scent on f/t and it doeas seem to work.
