But I really want to hurt someone. Work was making me cranky, and I have been trying to 'relax' by watching some snake dancing videos and found THIS (insert horrid look upon my face): www.youtube.com/watch
I want to hurt her. The way she was whipped that snake around, UUGHH!!! AND MUST every other snake dancer be a sorceress / witch / pagan goddess. I really don;t care what you do in your private rituals at home (hell, I have my share) but I swear I feel like the odd agnostic outcast when people ask me if am a witch ...."BUT, you are a snake dancer right? I thought all the snake dancers were witches (because that is all they see on you tube"
I need to go howl at the moon right now.

Re: Must be the full Moon
Tue, November 3, 2009 - 2:17 PMThat is a bit horrifying... That beautiful red tail should be labeled a saint for not biting her right then and there.
In responce to " MUST every other snake dancer be a sorceress / witch / pagan goddess." I am a pagan/witch/whatever you would like to call it. Though I take no offence to your comment because like you said. My personal ritual is just that, personal. I do not label myself as such just to garner more attention to my performance. In truth snakes are a very misunderstood creature. Beautiful and loving, but it takes a certain kind of person to understand them. Usually those with a good connection with nature. So those of a nature based religion would be a common choice, but It drives my crazy to see people call themselves Snake Charming Goddess only to see a belly dancer that hangs a terrified serpent on they're shoulders and wiggles. It gives a bad name to my religion and snake dancing in general.
Your not an outcast. Your just one of us snake dancers that don't need a gimmick. ^_^
